Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Friends' Central topples Souderton
December 27, 2008: Wynnewoode, PA In Saturday's non-league outing, the Friends' Central (Wynnewoode, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Souderton Indians (Souderton, PA), by a count of 61-53.
The (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA). The Lions go into the Friends Schools outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Academy of the New Church was topped by Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA), 70-55, in a non-league outing.
The Indians now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norristown for a non-league outing on Monday, December 29. Souderton will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 58-47 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
