Iowa High School Basketball - North Tama nips East Marshall
December 6, 2008: Traer, IA 50675 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Tama Red Hawks (Traer, IA) and the visiting East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA), saw North Tama's basketball squad hold off East Marshall by a score of 60-56.
With the victory, North Tama improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Red Hawks travel to Northeast Hamilton-Alden (Blairsburg, IA) to battle the Trojans in a Iowa Star challenge on Tuesday, December 9. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Northeast Hamilton-Alden lost 57-45 in their recent league challenge against Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy (Waterloo, IA)
Next up, the Mustangs battle the AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - West challenge, on Tuesday, December 9. East Marshall will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 71-33 non-league loss to Iowa Falls (Iowa Falls, IA).
