Atherton Wolverines (Burton, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Johnson Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI), 52-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Atherton upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Bentley (Burton, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Genesee Area - Blue bout on Saturday, January 10.
