Maryland High School Basketball - Frederick topples Glenelg
December 22, 2008: Glenelg, MD 21737 In Monday's non-league outing, the Frederick Cadets (Frederick, MD) basketball squad beat the host Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD), by a margin of 73-64.
The Cadets (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Middletown (Middletown, MD). The Knights go into the MVAL - Piedmont outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Middletown was topped by DuVal (Lanham, MD), 73-35, in a non-league outing.
The Gladiators now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Century for a non-league outing on Friday, December 26. Glenelg will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 64-48 non-league loss to Urbana (Ijamsville, MD). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.
