The Bishop McNamara Mustangs basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host St. John's Cadets to 54 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 18-6 record. They play next when they host Gonzaga for a Washington Catholic contest on Friday, February 13. Bishop McNamara will meet a Eagles team coming off a 49-44 league win over Paul VI (Fairfax, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 21-3.

The Cadets (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions come into the Washington Catholic contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Carroll was defeated by DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD), 65-39, in a league contest.
