In Tuesday's league outing, the Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS) basketball squad nipped the visiting Lake Cormorant Gators (Lake Cormorant, MS), by a margin of 68-66.

The Tigers (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Gentry (Indianola, MS). The Rams go into the 5A Region 1 outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, Gentry nudged Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS), 63-45, in a league match.
