Oklahoma High School Basketball - Douglass overwhelms Marshall
January 4, 2011: Oklahoma City, OK 73114 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Douglass Trojans (Oklahoma City, OK) and the host Marshall Bears (Oklahoma City, OK), saw Douglass's basketball squad trounce Marshall by a count of 90-58.
With the victory, Douglass upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Star-Spencer (Spencer, OK) to play the Bobcats in a All-City challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Star-Spencer lost 68-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Washington, OK)
Next up, the Bears play the Midwest City Bombers (Midwest City, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 6. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 53-41 league win over Norman (Norman, OK).
