Texas High School Basketball - Sherman prevails Heritage
November 30, 2010: Sherman, TX 75090 Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX), 67-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sherman upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Denison (Denison, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a 4A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, November 30. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Denison won 40-39 in their recent non-league bout against Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX)
In their next game, the Coyotes face the Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 7. Heritage will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 51-47 non-league loss to Conrad (Dallas, TX).
