Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Bastrop Bears (Bastrop, TX), 66-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dripping Springs upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers host Lanier (Austin, TX) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league bout on Monday, November 22. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Lanier won 62-52 in their recent non-league bout against Lampasas (Lampasas, TX)

Next up, the Bears encounter the Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 23. Bastrop will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 55-49 non-league win over Ellison (Killeen, TX).
