Illinois High School Basketball - Morris fells Seneca
December 30, 2010: Morris, IL 60450 Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL), 52-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Morris upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Coal City (Coal City, IL) to play the Coalers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Coalers come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Coal City lost 66-60 in their recent non-league bout against Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL)
Next up, the Fighting Irish play the Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) in a Interstate Eight bout, on Friday, January 7. Seneca will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 47-40 league loss to Manteno (Manteno, IL).
