St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA), 51-29 in a non-league battle.

The Golden Knights now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Arcadia for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 18. St. Francis will battle a Apaches team coming off a 70-57 non-league loss to Muir (Pasadena, CA). The Apaches record now stands at 3-3.
