Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Council Rock South crushes Upper Moreland
December 16, 2010: Holland, PA 18966 Council Rock South Golden Hawks (Holland, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Upper Moreland Bears (Willow Grove, PA), 55-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Council Rock South upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Golden Hawks travel to Harry S. Truman (Levittown, PA) to encounter the Tigers in a Suburban One - National bout on Friday, December 17. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Harry S. Truman lost 64-39 in their recent non-league bout against Norristown (Norristown, PA)
Next up, the Bears encounter the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials (Plymouth Meeting, PA) in a Suburban One - American bout, on Tuesday, December 21. Upper Moreland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Colonials go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 63-31 league win over Wissahickon (Ambler, PA).
