California High School Basketball - Liberty Christian overwhelms Chester
January 7, 2011: Redding, CA 96002 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Liberty Christian Patriots (Redding, CA) and the visiting Chester Volcanoes (Chester, CA), saw Liberty Christian's basketball squad trounce Chester by a score of 69-46.
With the victory, Liberty Christian improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA) to battle the Lions in a Tri-Cities challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Redding Christian lost 64-57 in their recent league challenge against Maxwell (Maxwell, CA)
Next up, the Volcanoes battle the Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA) in a Tri-Cities challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Chester will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 76-55 non-league win over Rio Vista (Rio Vista, CA).
