In Friday's league match, the visiting Piedmont Panthers basketball team scored a good 50-41 triumph over the Central Academy Cougars.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a 2A/1A Conference 11 match, on Tuesday, January 4. Piedmont will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.
