Illinois High School Basketball - St. Bede winner over Indian Creek
December 30, 2010: Peru, IL 61354 The St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL), 73-62 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bruins (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Trojans go into the NCIC - Lincoln test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Mendota topped Somonauk (Somonauk, IL), 54-47, in a non-league test.
The Timberwolves now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Serena for a Little Ten test on Friday, January 7. Indian Creek will encounter a Huskers squad coming off a 56-44 non-league loss to Dixon (Dixon, IL). The Huskers record now stands at 0-8.
