Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV), 65-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Huntington upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Princeton (Princeton, WV) to play the Tigers in a Mountain State bout on Thursday, January 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Princeton lost 55-54 in their recent league bout against Riverside (Belle, WV)

Next up, the Red Dragons play the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) in a Mountain State game, on Thursday, January 20. St. Albans will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 8-1 record after their 61-41 league win over Spring Valley (Huntington, WV).
