Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Houston Trojans (South Houston, TX) and the host Washington Eagles (Houston, TX), saw South Houston's basketball squad overcome Washington by a score of 88-77.

With the victory, South Houston improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Crosby (Crosby, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 7. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Crosby lost 70-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Kashmere Fighting Rams (Houston, TX) in a 4A Region III District 22 challenge, on Monday, December 6. Washington will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
