Oklahoma High School Basketball - Mustang nips Del City
December 10, 2010: Mustang, OK 73064 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mustang Broncos (Mustang, OK) and the visiting Del City Eagles (Del City, OK), saw Mustang's basketball squad hold off Del City by a score of 45-44.
With the victory, Mustang improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Broncos host Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK) to battle the Patriots in a Metro challenge on Tuesday, December 14. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Putnam City West won 55-51 in their recent league challenge against Santa Fe (Edmond, OK)
Next up, the Eagles battle the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs (Edmond, OK) in a Mid-State challenge, on Tuesday, December 14. Del City will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 69-54 non-league win over Northwest Classen (Oklahoma City, OK).
