September 24, 2016: Thornton, CO 80602 Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Mountain Range Mustangs (Westminster, CO) and the host Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO), witnessed Mountain Range's softball squad tip Horizon by a count of 8-5.
The Mustangs now sport a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Poudre for a 5A Front Range match on Tuesday, September 27. Mountain Range will face a Impalas squad coming off a 9-5 non-league win over Holy Family (Broomfield, CO). The Impalas record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Horizon moves to 7-7 on the season. The Hawks host Loveland (Loveland, CO) to face the Indians in a 5A Front Range match on Tuesday, September 27. The Indians go into the match with a record of 8-6. Loveland lost 5-1 in their recent league match against Broomfield (Broomfield, CO)
