October 8, 2010: Homer, LA 71040 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Homer Pelicans (Homer, LA) and the visiting North Caddo Rebels (Vivian, LA), observed Homer's football squad thwart North Caddo by a tally of 46-21.
The Pelicans now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Springhill for a 2A District 1 contest on Friday, October 15. Homer will play a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 49-7 league loss to Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 0-6.
Coming up next, the Rebels play the Evangel Christian Academy Eagles (Shreveport, LA) in a 2A District 1 contest, on Friday, October 15. North Caddo will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 52-0 league win over Lakeside (Sibley, LA).
