September 17, 2010: Cartersville, GA 30120 In Friday's non-league game, the Cartersville Hurricanes (Cartersville, GA) football team knocked off the visiting Ringgold Tigers (Ringgold, GA), by a final score of 28-7.
The Hurricanes (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Allatoona (Acworth, GA). The Buccaneers come into the AAA Region 7B challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Allatoona was beaten by Dalton (Dalton, GA), 21-17, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Heritage for a AAA Region 7A challenge on Friday, October 1. Ringgold will meet a team coming off a 36-29 non-league win over Pickens (Jasper, GA). The record now stands at 3-1.
