Virginia High School Football - Kettle Run nips Freedom
September 16, 2010: South Riding, VA 20152 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Kettle Run Cougars football squad scored a close 6-3 victory over the Freedom Eagles.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 25. Kettle Run will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 32-29 non-league loss to Fauquier (Warrenton, VA).
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Falcons enter the AA Dulles match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Briar Woods was nudged by Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV), 8-7, in a non-league match.
