September 8, 2012: West Chicago, IL 60185 The Wheaton Academy Warriors topped the visiting Sterling Golden Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
Next up, the Warriors face the Aurora Christian Eagles (Aurora, IL) in a Suburban Christian contest, on Thursday, September 13. Wheaton Academy will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record.
With the loss, Sterling moves to 0-1 on the year. The Golden warriors host LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL) to face the Cavaliers in a Northern Illinois Big 12 - West contest on Tuesday, September 11. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a record of 2-2. LaSalle-Peru lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Morris (Morris, IL)
