October 10, 2012: Newark, DE 19702 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE) volleyball squad toppled the host Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles (Newark, DE), by a count of 3-1.
The Hawks (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Delcastle Vo-Tech (Wilmington, DE). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Delcastle Vo-Tech defeated Newark (Newark, DE), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles encounter the William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 12. Hodgson Vo-Tech will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Colonials enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE).
