New Mexico High School Basketball - Pecos tops Estancia
December 18, 2018: Pecos, NM 87552 Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Estancia Bears (Estancia, NM), 42-26 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pecos upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hagerman (Hagerman, NM) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 12. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bears play the Cuba Rams (Cuba, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 20. Estancia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 65-40 non-league win over Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).
