In Wednesday's league test, the host Stamford Black Knights ice hockey team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Staples/Weston/Shelton Wreckers.

The Black Knights (4-13) will now prepare for their match against Norwalk/McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Bears enter the FCIAC match with a 3-15 record. In their last match, Norwalk/McMahon was nipped by Warde/Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT), 5-1, in a league match.
