April 10, 2018: Baxter Springs, KS 66713 Baxter Springs Lions (Baxter Springs, KS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Ketchum Warriors (Ketchum, OK), 6-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Baxter Springs upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lions host Frontenac (Frontenac, KS) to battle the Raiders in a test on Friday, April 13. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 5-0. Frontenac won 6-5 in their recent league test against Girard (Girard, KS)
With the defeat, Ketchum falls to 0-1 on the season.
