Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA), 18-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA) to battle the Lions in a non-league test on Saturday, February 24. The Lions come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Golden Valley falls to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Arvin (Arvin, CA) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 27. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-1. Arvin won 17-0 in their recent non-league test against South (Bakersfield, CA)
