In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Piner Prospectors basketball team scored a good 58-47 triumph over the El Molino Lions.

In their next game, the Prospectors meet the Elsie Allen Lobos (Santa Rosa, CA) in a Sonoma County match, on Thursday, February 2. Piner will attempt to move on its 6-14 season record. The Lobos enter the match with a 1-19 record after their 64-26 non-league loss to Antioch (Antioch, CA).
