The Torrey Pines Lady Falcons cane from down 3-2 in the 5th inning to defeat the Brawley Wildcats 5-4 to complete a double-header sweep in the Falcon Fiesta Softball Tournament yesterday in games played at Falcon Field in Carmel Valley. Earlier in the day the Falcons came from 2-0 down in the 4th inning to defeat Westview 3-2. The Falcons scored single runs in the 5th, 6th, and 7th innings to gain the victory. Sophomore Eva Gutierrez was the hitting star as she drove a bases loaded one out Single to Right field to plate the game winner in the bottom of the 7th inning giving winning coach Jon Moore his 500th career win. Junior Right Handed Pitcher Kathryn McGinty threw 6 1/3 innings allowing 6 hits while striking out 6 in the circle for the Falcons. Junior Georgia Bilski went 2-3 with a 2 run Home Run as Torrey Pines impoved to 10-1 on the season.
