In Saturday's non-league contest, the Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), by a margin of 11-1.

With the triumph, Normal West moves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Pontiac (Pontiac, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 8. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 5-2. Pontiac lost 8-6 in their recent non-league contest against Manteno (Manteno, IL)
