Xenia Buccaneers (Xenia, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH), 6-5 in a non-league battle.

The Buccaneers now have a 1-14 record. They take the field next when they host Fairmont for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 14.

In their next game, the Thunderbolts clash with the Franklin Wildcats (Franklin, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 10. Northmont will attempt to move on its 1-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 7-9 record after their 22-11 non-league loss to Fairmont (Kettering, OH).
