Indiana High School Basketball - Western tops Kokomo

Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN), 49-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Western upgrades its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Twin Lakes lost 60-48 in their recent league bout against West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN)

Next up, the Wildkats play the McCutcheon Mavericks (Lafayette, IN) in a North Central bout, on Friday, December 8. Kokomo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Mavericks come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 60-57 non-league loss to Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN).
