Iowa High School Basketball - Liberty nudges West Delaware
February 3, 2018: North Liberty, IA Liberty (North Liberty, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting West Delaware Hawks (Manchester, IA), 55-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 6-13 on the season. The host Bellevue (Bellevue, IA) to clash with the Comets in a Freelance bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Bellevue won 59-57 in their recent non-league bout against Wilton (Wilton, IA)
Next up, the Hawks clash with the Marion Indians (Marion, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. West Delaware will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 19-0 record after their 70-38 non-league win over South Tama County (Tama, IA).
