The Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 71-31 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Patriots (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders go into the Sandhills 4A test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Richmond was trounced by Clayton (Clayton, NC), 57-42, in a non-league test.

The Bearcats now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Harding University for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 13.
