Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tucker Tigers (Tucker, GA) and the host Opelika Bulldogs (Opelika, AL), saw Tucker's basketball squad overcome Opelika by a tally of 68-50.

With the victory, Tucker improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Whitehaven (Memphis, TN) to confront the Tigers in a AAA District 16 challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Whitehaven lost 48-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Wenonah (Birmingham, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Park Crossing Thunderbirds (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Opelika will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the battle with a 5-10 record after their 41-26 non-league loss to Sumter Central (York, AL).
