Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 49-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Forbush upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC) to clash with the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 4. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, December 11. Alleghany will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
