North Carolina High School Basketball - Princeton overwhelms Lakewood
January 18, 2019: Princeton, NC 27569 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC) and the visiting Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC), saw Princeton's basketball squad wallop Lakewood by a tally of 65-24.
With the victory, Princeton improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Union (Rose Hill, NC) to play the Spartans in a challenge on Friday, January 25. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Union won 64-46 in their recent league challenge against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC)
Next up, the Leopards play the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 29. Lakewood will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 54-50 non-league loss to Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC).
