In Thursday's non-league contest, the Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Mountain Lions face the Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) in a 5A Southern B contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Mountain View will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
