September 6, 2008: Langford, SD 57454 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Langford/Roslyn Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the DeSmet Bulldogs.
The Lions (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Leola/Frederick achieved victory over Eureka/Bowdle (Eureka, SD), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Clark Comets (Clark, SD) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 9. DeSmet will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Comets come into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lake Preston (Lake Preston, SD).
