Oklahoma High School Softball - Porter bounces Weleetka
September 4, 2018: Weleetka, OK 74880 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Porter Pirates (Porter, OK) and the host Weleetka Outlaws (Weleetka, OK), witnessed Porter's softball squad tip Weleetka by a count of 10-5.
The Pirates now sport a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Locust Grove for a non-league match on Thursday, September 6. Porter will face a Pirates squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Jay (Jay, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 3-9.
With the loss, Weleetka moves to 4-5 on the season. The Outlaws travel to Depew (Depew, OK) to face the Hornets in a Class A match on Thursday, September 6. The Hornets go into the match with a record of 13-2. Depew won 6-5 in their recent league match against Ripley (Ripley, OK)
