September 11, 2010: Lakeland, FL 33810 The Victory Christian Academy Storm topped the visiting Lake Gibson Braves volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Storm now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sonrise Christian for a 1A District 7 test on Monday, September 13. Victory Christian Academy will confront a Seminoles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Sebring (Sebring, FL). The Seminoles record now stands at 2-5.
The Braves (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Auburndale (Auburndale, FL). The Bloodhounds enter the 5A District 6 test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Auburndale was knocked off by Okeechobee (Okeechobee, FL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
