The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Clear Brook Wolverines (Friendswood, TX) and the host Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX), saw Clear Brook's volleyball squad nip Fort Bend Austin by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Clear Brook upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Wolverines host Langham Creek (Houston, TX) to play the Lobos in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 21. The Lobos go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Langham Creek lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Klein Oak (Spring, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Katy Taylor for a non-league bout on Friday, August 20. Fort Bend Austin will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Klein Collins (Spring, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-2.
