August 13, 2010: San Antonio, TX 78252 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX), saw Southwest's volleyball squad beat Alice by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Southwest upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Dragons host East Central (San Antonio, TX) to play the Hornets in a 5A Region IV District 28 bout on Saturday, August 14. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-3. East Central lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX)
The Coyotes now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Brandeis for a non-league bout on Friday, August 13. Alice will play a squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Churchill (San Antonio, TX). The record now stands at 0-2.
