Iowa High School Football - Roosevelt can't get by Sioux City West
September 28, 2012: Sioux City, IA 51103 Sioux City West Wolverines (Sioux City, IA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders (Des Moines, IA), 21-14 in a league test.
With the triumph, Sioux City West improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA) to confront the Rams in a 4A Division 4 test on Friday, October 5. The Rams come into the test with a record of 4-2. Southeast Polk won 41-8 in their recent league test against Waukee (Waukee, IA)
With the loss, Roosevelt drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Roughriders host Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA) to confront the Lynx in a 4A Division 4 test on Friday, October 5. The Lynx come into the test with a record of 2-4. Lincoln lost 48-13 in their recent league test against Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA)
