Texas High School Football - Deer Park felled by Spring

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Wildcats come into the 5A Region II District 13 game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Dekaney knocked off Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX), 41-0, in a league game.
The Deer now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Clear Creek for a non-league game on Friday, September 14. Deer Park will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 34-14 non-league win over Kingwood (Kingwood, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
