Pennsylvania High School Football - Methacton drops to Perkiomen Valley
September 8, 2012: Norristown, PA 19403 In Saturday's league game, the Perkiomen Valley Vikings (Collegeville, PA) football team knocked off the host Methacton Warriors (Norristown, PA), by a final score of 35-6.
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Owen J. Roberts (Pottstown, PA). The Wildcats come into the Pioneer game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Owen J. Roberts was dropped by Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA), 49-7, in a non-league game.
The Warriors now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Phoenixville for a Pioneer game on Friday, September 14. Methacton will battle a Phantoms team coming off a 28-20 non-league win over Exeter Township (Reading, PA). The Phantoms record now stands at 1-1.
