With the loss, Jefferson Davis drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Volunteers travel to Lanier (Montgomery, AL) to confront the Poets in a 6A Region 3 test on Friday, October 12. The Poets come into the test with a record of 2-5. Lanier lost 43-12 in their recent league test against Opelika (Opelika, AL)
