North Carolina High School Football - Richmond topples Lee County
August 24, 2012: Sanford, NC 27330 The Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) football defeated the host Lee County (Sanford, NC), 55-28 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Raiders face the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a 4A/3A Southern Carolina bout, on Friday, August 31. Richmond will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 32-25 non-league loss to Central (Pageland, SC).
The (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Apex (Apex, NC). The Cougars enter the 4A Tri-Nine bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Apex defeated Riverside (Durham, NC), 18-13, in a non-league bout.
