California High School Football - Westview held off by Mt. Carmel
September 1, 2023: San Diego, CA 92129 Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA), 31-26 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Mt. Carmel improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Sundevils host Ramona (Ramona, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a test on Friday, September 29. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-0.
With the loss, Westview drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Oceanside (Oceanside, CA) to battle the Pirates in a test on Friday, September 8. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 2-1. Oceanside lost 23-15 in their recent non-league test against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA)
